The Sea Trail Roost Site at SunsetBeach, 8/19/06 Birds include at least the following: great egrets, snowy egrets, cattle egrets, reddish egrets, great blue herons, tri-colored herons, green herons, black-crowned night herons, yellow-crowned night herons, little blue herons both juvenile and mature, ibises -- juvenile and mature, anhingas, roseate spoonbill, osprey and wood storks. Occasionally common moorhens and purple gallinules swim in the creek in front of the trees. | |||||||||||
