Today's walk would have been disappointing had I not met a cute puppy and his family at the end of the walk. Besides a hairy sea cucumber, bryozoans and hydrozoans that I left behind, I only found one sand dollar and an onion anemone. I saw a group of Wilson's plovers scurrying around, pecking for food.

Although it is legal to publish photos taken on public property, I will remove the photos of the dog and boy if the family requests me to do so.
